Satay Celup is now in Klang with the name of 'Modern Satay Lok Lok'.
It is a dish where all raw ingredient and vegetables were threw into a boiling pot and to be eaten with sauce when it is cooked.
My first thought was "Great, I do not need to queue and sweat for Malacca's satay celup anymore! *grins*". I reached the restaurant at 7pm. There's still many empty seats to be filled and it is not crowded at all.

It is more comfortable compare to Malacca's Satay Celup restaurant as they have air conditioner and not crowded. You wouldn't feel any heat in the restaurant.
What's so attractive here is you can choose any two types of soup base you desire from :
1. Satay soup base
2. Tomyam soup base
3. Clear soup base

Food choices here were very limited especially for the seafood category.
L - R : Sotong ball, fishball, bird egg, sausage, rommaine
OMG. It really cost a bomb. RM1.50 /stick
RM1.50 for a stick of bird egg or sausage , still acceptable.
But the rommaine also cost me RM1.50 ...... @#!$%^! Ridiculous!
Spot the fishball stick, there are two sticks together right? yea, it's RM3.
As compared, Malacca's satay celup cost only RM0.50 for normal ingredient while the seafood one is only RM0.60.
After all, I guess I needa back to the queue-for-food culture at Malacca's satay celup restaurant. Travelling all the way to Malacca isn't a problem at all. High possibility that I wouldn't return here again. However, it is still better for you to taste it yourself than letting others to decide for you.
