Restaurant Shabu-Shabu

Shabu Shabu is a japanese steamboat buffet which is located at Bandar Puteri, Puchong. They are a bit different from other restaurant as the cashier is on the 1st floor while the dining area is on the 3rd floor of the shop lot. You will see people queueing outside during the peak hour. Crowd started to boost up after 6pm. So, reservation shall be made earlier.

At the moment I reach shabu shabu, I could actually eat a cow. This is the first time I eat so much at the buffet due to the adventurous water sports activity.

Fresh ingredient ,doesn't smell. What's more interesting is all the ingredient were place on the conveyor belt. Food will come to you like automatically? Highly hygienic as each have individual pot and induction cooker to cook your food. Only one type of soup base available which is the clear soup. But at the same time, you can add in tomatoes / sweet corn to enhance the taste.

Clear soup

For instance, there are french fries , kimchi and fried wan tan

Antipodean Cafe

Normally my breakfast in Klang will be Bah Kut Teh, Cheong Foh or mamak. But this typical friday I've opt to visit my favourite breakfast joint at Bangsar. It is a breakfast I will splurge for, once in a while. It's been quite a while since my last visit and the first on a weekday. To my surprise the restaurant is still pack just like weekends.

Antipodean is a cafe which serve Aussie brekky. The food was served relatively quick. Plus, the servings are warm too.  Portion of food is large and I strongly suggest sharing for two.

Their menu are all scribbled on the huge blackboard. It's kinda hard to read as other customer will be blocking and sometimes we just cant see as it is too far from our place.

Water for free
Hot Latte (RM9)
Latte with pretty design. I'll still prefer something with stronger coffee for a good wake up call.

Soda Orange (RM8)
It is a bit tasteless but you can make it sweeter by adding more sugar.

Big Breakfast with Bacon (RM20)
Bacon , Hash brown, salted mushroom, bread, scrambled egg. Scramble egg are milky just at the perfect done. Salted mushroom are filled with the taste of butter. Hash brown are grilled or pan fry but not those deep fried.

Croissant Scramble Eggs with Bacon (RM19)
Some people find the taste of rocket weird but I do find it intriguing.
The rocket stands out on every bite of the croissant.

Smoke Salmon Omelette (RM20)
Highly recommend this for those egg lovers. The omelette was very creamy and big in size. Shall eat it while is hot. Encourage sharing for this.

On the whole, Antipodean is a great place for brunch as there are variety of food choices. It is best to come before 10am for nice parking and less crowd in the morning. Not to forget, Breakfast is serve whole day. Maybe you can drop by at night for dinner to avoid the crowdedness.

Modern Satay Lok Lok

Satay Celup is now in Klang with the name of 'Modern Satay Lok Lok'.
It is a dish where all raw ingredient and vegetables were threw into a boiling pot and to be eaten with sauce when it is cooked.
My first thought was "Great, I do not need to queue and sweat for Malacca's satay celup anymore! *grins*". I reached the restaurant at 7pm. There's still many empty seats to be filled and it is not crowded at all.

It is more comfortable compare to Malacca's Satay Celup restaurant as they have air conditioner and not crowded. You wouldn't feel any heat in the restaurant.

What's so attractive here is you can choose any two types of soup base you desire from :
1. Satay soup base
2. Tomyam soup base
3. Clear soup base

Food choices here were very limited especially for the seafood category.

L - R : Sotong ball, fishball, bird egg, sausage, rommaine
OMG. It really cost a bomb. RM1.50 /stick
RM1.50 for a stick of bird egg or sausage , still acceptable.
But the rommaine also cost me RM1.50 ...... @#!$%^! Ridiculous!
Spot the fishball stick, there are two sticks together right? yea, it's RM3.

As compared, Malacca's satay celup cost only RM0.50 for normal ingredient while the seafood one is only RM0.60.

After all, I guess I needa back to the queue-for-food culture at Malacca's satay celup restaurant. Travelling all the way to Malacca isn't a problem at all. High possibility that I wouldn't return here again. However, it is still better for you to taste it yourself than letting others to decide for you.

My Burger Lab

Because eating burgers are way too mainstream. Burger has become a trend lately, do you realize it? So many specialities they have. With different colours bun? Different type of chicken? Sauce? etc. too many to be stated and I'm lazy. So .. so .. Here I am , Burger Lab. *tee-hee*

The design of the small restaurant

Do you have the feeling like WTH. Nobody ? So lil people?
Actually , the truth behind iz .. I start to queue before the shop is open!
Sounds pathetic right? But no worries, they are many people out there who queue with me and some even came earlier than me. *feelinglikealoser*
I reached BurgerLab at arnd 4.45pm and I'm alrd the 9th customer.
FYI, the shop open only at 5pm.
We are not allowed to book any place before ordering food. strictly NO.

Here's the menu. Written with chalks. Simple & nice.

*JengJeng* cam whore with mom while waiting for our delicious  burger to be serve.

 p/s: Drinks are refillable.

The one on left is Swisstake burger (beef) while the right one is A++ cheeseburger (chicken)

The french fries are yummy especially when you dip in with the sauce. While you r eating, there will be a guy (one of the boss i guess) drop by every table to ask for review/feedback. You can just voice out to him if you have any problem/feedback. The burger here is delicious. Finger licking good. Lols. It is not oily and the chicken is very yummy. Serving speed was fast and efficient.
The note board
Drop them a "note". Creative huh ? Drop them a note with your own note. You can write anything you like and paste them on the particular board. There are people asking them to expand the shop. It's quite true as the size of the shop is a bit too small n causes crowd all the time. Furthermore, you cant actually enjoy the meal when there are people standing beside your table waiting for seats. Some people will have the expression like 'eh, please leave after u finish eating'. Although they didn't say but I can feel it. lols. So, all I can do is quickly finish up my burger and leave.

Random.

Mr. & Ms. Cafe

Decided to pay a visit to Mr & Ms. at Oasis Square, Ara Damansara after my weekend class. Another nice hangout place which I just discovered. Like a slow-pork. A place which you can relax and chill with friends after a tiring week. Not to forget, mustache and lips are their cafe's trademark. The lips & mustache sticks will be placed on every table so that you can camwhore with it (:. Don't be shy, as you'll see almost everyone around you are busy camwhoring with the sticks as well.

The waiting area

I reached Mr. & Ms. approximately around 2pm in the afternoon. The cafe was full of people and we need to wait under waiting list. U need not to stand while waiting as there is a nice waiting area but I wander around to snap some photos of Oasis Square.

It would be nicer at night with all the lightings. There are also many other restaurants around. Oasis Square have the similar concept like Setia Walk which is like a row of different restaurants. Back to Mr. & Ms Cafe. It's their peak hour so we might as well just wait. I waited for half an hour to be seated.

Having a lil coffee crazy nowadays. Hence on this particular Friday night, we paid a visit to the Coffea Coffee branch at SS15. This cafe is located two shops away from the K3K Benta Kaya, SS15 facing the main road of Persiaran Jengka. It occupies two floors, the counter is upon the entrance of the cafe. You'll need to place your orders at the counter and your beverages will be served to your table when it's done.

Order and Payment

Sinful yet hard to resist snacks and desserts

Scones and Cookies

The One and Only Peanut Butter Latte

Tiramisu

Orders of the night

The peanut butter latte was milky, something which I rarely taste. It would be a nice option if you're not interested with coffee. Theres's a series of coolist which is a ice blended non coffee option. Meanwhile, the tiramisu have a sufficient coffee taste. The aroma of the coffee lingering in the cream of the tiramisu is rarely found in any ordinary cafe.
